Bronte Macaulay

Growing up and learning to surf at 9 years old in the surf-abundant Margaret River region of Western Australia, under the expert guidance of her father Dave, an iconic professional surfer from the 80s and 90s, it was almost inevitable that Bronte Macaulay would pursue the chance to carve out a career in competitive surfing.

After narrowly missing out on a spot in the 2016 Championship Tour, Bronte dedicated herself to reaching her dream by notching up solid performances on the QS and several CT events as a wild card and injury replacement, where she confidently proved she is a talented surfer to be watched, holding her own against seasoned tour professionals.

Bronte’s competitive surfing dream was realised at the end of the 2016 tour schedule, securing her place amongst the top 17 female surfers in the world, and no doubt set to make waves on the 2017 tour! Go Bronte!
